Wendell Smith Elementary School is a neighborhood school that offers a general curriculum.

Students have access to two computer labs, have computers in their classrooms, and various other types of technology.   Wendell Smith students are rewarded for honor roll, perfect attendance, and citizenship.

Extracurricular activities at Smith include basketball, games club, cheerleading, homework help, flag football, and track, just to name a few.

The school partners with Gately Park and Metropolitan Family Services.
